Dentist (Part-Time)
Location: New Orleans, LA
Pay: $75/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional Saturdays)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive oral health services in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The role involves patient care, prevention, and education while collaborating with a supportive dental team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and partials.
• Diagnose and create treatment plans in line with best practices.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Document patient care in the EHR.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, and state regulations.
• Support tele-dentistry and mobile dental unit programs.
• Supervise and mentor dental residents, hygienists, and assistants.

Qualifications:

• DDS/DMD from accredited dental school.
• Active Louisiana dental license, DEA registration, CPR certified.
• Community health/FQHC experience preferred.
• Open to new graduates with commitment to underserved populations.

Details:

• Outpatient setting, ~10–12 patients/day, all ages.
• 1 open position; part-time (potential to become full-time).
• Start date: within 30 days.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
