Job Title: Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to support the day-to-day clinical and administrative functions of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare patients for treatment, and maintain a clean and well-equipped treatment area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including fillings, root canals, extractions, etc.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment as per infection control standards
• Greet and prepare patients for treatment; ensure their comfort during procedures
• Maintain dental records, treatment logs, and patient histories
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with the front desk
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the operatory and waiting areas
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Take and develop dental x-rays (if trained)

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of dental instruments and chair-side assisting techniques
• Understanding of sterilization protocols and dental clinic safety practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• A patient-friendly and team-oriented attitude

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Dental Assisting or relevant field
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a dental clinic/hospital
• Basic knowledge of dental charting and dental software is an added advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,370.68 - ₹22,414.35 per month
