Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive patient care, perform various dental procedures, and ensure that all treatments are conducted in accordance with established protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Implement infection control measures and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide high-quality patient care
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and dental fabrication
  • Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus; familiarity with pediatric patients is essential
  • Understanding of endodontics and oral surgery practices is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort
  • Previous experience working in a dental clinic or office setting is preferred
