Role Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive dental services for individuals in supported residential settings as well as select individuals in community-based environments.

Deliver advanced dental care and treatments designed to elevate overall oral hygiene and support long-term health outcomes.

Utilize electronic dental and medical record systems efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all clinical encounters.

Develop detailed written treatment plans, including clear justification for all irreversible procedures.

Adhere to best practices in safety, quality, and patient-centered care.

Collaborate effectively in a team environment, contributing to a positive and coordinated care experience.

Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, patients, and interdisciplinary partners.

Organize and present clinical information as needed.

Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Required Qualifications

Current license to practice dentistry issued by the appropriate state licensing board.

Active, unrestricted registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Completion of all required facility and regulatory training.

Proficiency with computers and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.

Desired Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Familiarity with interdisciplinary care models or supported living environments.

Commitment to patient advocacy and high-quality, ethical care.

Location & Work Type

On-site position

Four-day, 10-hour schedule

Standard workweek: Tuesday through Friday (following completion of required training)

No after-hours call
