Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric dentistry and general dentistry. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental practice. The Dentist will work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed in accordance with aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and dental fabrication.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
