Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice for two days a week . The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and will possess a comprehensive understanding of various dental procedures. This role requires proficiency in both general dentistry and specialized areas such as pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to ensure high-quality dental services while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery.
  • Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide patient education on oral health care practices and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and treatment methodologies.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid dental license to practice in the state.
  • Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and dental fabrication processes.
  • Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting is advantageous.

Pay: $679.05 - $850.00 per day
