About the Role

ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. (NDGCS) is seeking an experienced and licensed Dentist (DDS/DMD) to provide comprehensive dental care for residents of the Wayne County Nursing Home. This is a part-time contract position offering consistent, government-backed work — ideal for a dentist looking to supplement income while maintaining a private practice.

The selected dentist will conduct on-site dental sessions and may also complete denture fabrication, relines, and repairs at their own chamber/practice if available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 52 on-site dental sessions annually (minimum 2 hours per session).
• Perform a full range of dental services, including:
• Examinations, X-rays, cleanings, restorations, and fillings.
• Extractions, denture fabrication, relines, and repairs.
• Emergency dental services as needed.
• Maintain accurate dental records within the nursing home’s medical record system.
• Develop oral health policies and deliver staff training in compliance with NYS DOH 483.55 regulations.
• Submit all required monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and NYSDOH standards.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
• Active New York State Dental License in good standing.
• Minimum 3 years of dental practice experience (geriatric or long-term care preferred).
• Strong understanding of infection control and long-term care compliance.
• Professional liability insurance (or ability to obtain prior to start).

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with nursing home or long-term care populations.
• Expertise in dentures, relines, and restorative procedures.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and patient management skills.
• Existing chamber/private practice for off-site denture and repair work (optional but preferred).
