Salary:Starting at $90,000 to Depends on experience (DOE)

Location:Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities.

Primary Duties:The successful applicant will be responsible for representing the Idaho Transportation Department in civil litigation. Practice areas include real property, contract disputes, and administrative law. The practice includes motion and trial practice in district court, as well as administrative hearings. The attorney will also provide day-to-day legal advice to department employees on a variety of legal issues, evaluate draft legislation, contracts and proposed administrative rules, and handle administrative appeals filed by contractors and other parties.

Minimum Qualifications:Admission to the Idaho State Bar. Experience in state courts and administrative proceedings and the ability to handle a civil litigation caseload are desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:Three or more years of experience in civil litigation is preferred.
