Salary Range: $150,000-170,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience
For 100 years, VISIONS has provided comprehensive services to people who are blind or visually impaired, empowering individuals to live independently and fully participate in their communities. As VISIONS enters its second century, we are focused on expanding access, strengthening financial sustainability, and revitalizing the VISIONS Center on Blindness (VCB) as a dynamic hub for year-round programming and growth.
The Deputy Chief Growth & Implementation Officer (DCGIO) is a senior executive responsible for driving sustainable earned revenue growth, optimizing revenue cycle operations (including Medicaid, managed care, third-party insurance, and self-pay services), integrating financial and programmatic systems, and operationalizing new mission-aligned programs, including innovative offerings connected to the revitalization of the VISIONS Center on Blindness (VCB).
This role is central to VISIONS strategic priority of serving more people who need us by expanding mechanisms of payment beyond traditional funding streams. By strengthening insurance billing capacity, modernizing revenue systems, and responsibly introducing or scaling fee-for-service options, VISIONS can broaden access, increase flexibility for participants, and ensure long-term sustainability.
The Deputy Chief Growth & Implementation Officer is responsible for translating VISIONS growth strategy into operational execution, ensuring that new revenue models, systems, and program innovations are effectively implemented, scaled, and sustained across the organization.

As VISIONS advances into its second century and revitalizes the VISIONS Center on Blindness, this role offers a unique opportunity to operationalize the organization’s growth strategy. The Deputy Chief Growth & Implementation Officer will expand access to services through diversified payment mechanisms, innovative programming, and strong integrated systems that ensure long-term mission impact and sustainability.
$150K-170K, Commensurate with education and experience
