At Arabian Construction Company (ACC), we are committed to delivering excellence in every project. We are looking for a Deputy Director of Estimating & Tendering to support our leadership in managing and developing all tendering and estimation functions. This senior role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership skills to ensure accurate, competitive, and timely tender submissions that align with ACC’s strategic objectives.
What You’ll Achieve
Strategic Oversight

Support the Director in leading the tendering and cost estimation department across multiple projects and regions.

Ensure alignment of tendering strategies with company goals and market positioning.

Represent the tendering department in executive meetings, client presentations, and strategic reviews.
Tendering & Estimation Leadership

Oversee preparation of tenders, BOQs, cost breakdowns, and bid submissions using
Candy
and other advanced tools.

Review and validate all cost estimates to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with requirements.

Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs and enhance bid competitiveness.
Team & Process Management

Lead and mentor a team of senior and junior estimators, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development.

Establish and continuously refine estimation processes, templates, and reporting standards.

Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams to ensure holistic and reliable estimates.
Market & Risk Analysis

Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and subcontractor performance to inform tender strategies.

Identify risks and opportunities in tenders, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.

Ensure proper documentation, governance, and transparency across all submissions.
What You’ll Bring to ACC

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management (Master’s or MBA is a plus).

18+ years of experience in tendering and cost estimation in the construction industry, with proven leadership in large-scale projects.

Strong expertise in Candy software and advanced cost modeling.

Demonstrated success in managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering high-value tenders.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in English is required; French is an advantage.
