Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- MS degree with 18 years of education from a reputed foreign/local university, accompanied by 12 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a university environment (academic/administrative).
Desirable:
- MS CS/IT from reputed foreign / local university with 12 years of experience in university environment (academic/administrative)
Key Responsibilities:
- Correspondence with GHQ, HEC and MoST related to policies and regulations
- Processing cases for the establishment of new campuses.
- Preparation of annual intake plan.
- Revision of student handbooks.
- Arrange UCAP meetings for the processing of new policies.
- Revision of all Academics Policies / Regulations.
- Process and record the cases for the University Best Teacher Award on a yearly basis.
- Responsible for overall conduct of ACM.
- Prepare comprehensive presentation for all working papers as per the requirements of Director Academics.
- Conduct different research/data driven studies as per the requirements.
- Supervise AD Policies for handling complex policy matters.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Director Academics.
Knowledge/Skill/Abilities:
Essential:
- Knowledge of universityecosystem / hierarchical system of the university
- Process knowledge of policy development and revision
- Awareness of NUST framework and statutory bodies
- Capability to perform independent internal and external communication with Government organizations
- Good communication skills
Desirable:
- Awareness of rules and regulations of HEC and accreditation bodies.
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools
Terms & Conditions:

- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.
Candidates may be considered ineligible for the post due to any of the following reasons:
- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply through their respective parent department / organizations. Late / incomplete applications will be ignored. Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
