Deputy General Manager – Cloud Sales (Enterprise & Partners)

About the Role

Vayu Cloud is a next-generation cloud platform delivering IaaS, PaaS, and AI-led infrastructure for enterprises. We are looking for a senior, results-driven Cloud Sales professional to drive new logo acquisition and partner-led growth across enterprise and upper mid-market customers.

This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of pipeline, revenue, and strategic customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive enterprise cloud sales for assigned accounts, focused on adoption and revenue growth
  • Achieve and exceed revenue and order booking targets through strong pipeline generation and deal execution
  • Build and execute partner-led GTM motions with resellers, MSPs, and ecosystem partners
  • Independently create, manage, and close complex sales opportunities from prospecting to closure
  • Engage with CXO and senior IT stakeholders , navigating multi-layered decision cycles
  • Position Vayu Cloud as a differentiated, value-driven platform addressing customer infrastructure challenges
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline hygiene using CRM tools (Salesforce)
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close high-value enterprise cloud deals
  • Track market trends, competitive offerings, and customer needs to improve win rates


Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience , with 4+ years in cloud / SaaS / technology sales
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and modern IT infrastructure
  • Proven experience selling to enterprise or upper mid-market customers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to influence C-level stakeholders across business and IT
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA preferred, not mandatory)
