Deputy Manager Admin & IR

Job Summary:

The Deputy Manager – Administration & Industrial Relations will oversee administrative operations while managing industrial relations to ensure a harmonious, compliant, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administration:

  • Manage overall administrative functions including office management, housekeeping, and transport.
  • Supervise facility maintenance and ensure smooth operations of utilities and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
  • Monitor vendor contracts, service providers, and procurement of administrative supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and internal arrangements.
  • Manage administrative budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Lead and supervise administrative staff and ensure performance standards.
  • Handle crisis management and emergency response related to admin operations.

Industrial Relations (IR):

  • Maintain positive relationships between management and workforce.
  • Handle worker grievances, disciplinary matters, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, including Standing Orders and other applicable regulations.
  • Liaise with labor unions, worker representatives, and government authorities when required.
  • Support implementation of HR policies, collective agreements, and company rules.
  • Conduct domestic inquiries and assist in legal/labor cases.
  • Promote a healthy work environment through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in handling audits and inspections related to labor compliance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or relevant field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in Administration with exposure to Industrial Relations.
  • Experience in manufacturing/textile sector will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
