Overview

A Deputy Manager Business Development, in the context of an organization like the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) field, is responsible for identifying, creating, and nurturing HSE business opportunities that align with the company's HSE-related services. Their role involves driving growth, expanding the company's client base, and increasing revenue through strategic partnerships, client relationships, and market analysis.

Role:

As a Deputy Manager Business Development, HSE Services you will be playing a crucial role in driving the growth of our organization by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities in the Health, Safety, and Environment sector. You will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships, fostering client relationships, and expanding our market presence to increase revenue and achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

The Deputy Manager Business Development, HSE Services will be directly responsible for the actions which include but not limited to following:

1. Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the HSE sector. Performing SWOT analysis and devising policies to overcome the weaknesses and transforming threats into opportunities Identify the existing gaps and potential areas for growth within the HSE market.

2. Business Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the HSE sector in alignment with the company's overall goals. Define target markets, customer segments, and value propositions. Based on the market analysis and future trend, developing long term and short term HSE business goals and action plans to successfully achieve them.

3. Lead Generation: Identify and quantify potential leads and prospects through research, networking, and engagement with industry events and conferences. Generate a consistent pipeline of opportunities for the HSE services.

4. Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers. Collaborate with partners to develop joint business opportunities and collaborations.

5. Client Engagement: Understand client needs and challenges related to HSE and crafting company services as solutions. Conduct presentations, services demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business.

6. Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and solutions that address client requirements. Ensure proposals are tailored to specific client needs and align with company capabilities.

7. Sales Growth: Meet or exceed sales targets by closing deals and securing new contracts.

Providing quarterly sales forecasts and reports to management.

8. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences related to HSE in order to build a strong professional network. Represent the company as a knowledgeable and reliable expert in the HSE sector.

9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to HSE in order to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams. Continuously refining and adapting the HSE business development strategy based on market dynamics.

Qualifications: Bachelors / Master’s degree in Business Administration, (Sales & Marketing)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Time management

Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least eight (8) years of experience in the business development and marketing with five (5) years as a business development and marketing professional in HSE services providers companies.
  • Sound knowledge of national & international regulations, legislations, industry best practices pertaining to HSE.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or related roles within the HSE sector.
  • Strong understanding of HSE regulations, compliance, and industry standards.

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • 120K – 150K
