Job Title: Deputy Manager - Electrical Design – Industrial & Lifescience Sectors

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with 10 – 15 years of experience in electrical design for industrial and Life science projects. The ideal candidate will have a consultancy background and proven expertise in designing electrical systems, preparing detailed engineering documentation, and ensuring seamless integration of electrical designs into multidisciplinary projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design Development:

· Create and develop detailed electrical designs, including:

o Power distribution systems.

o Lighting and emergency lighting systems.

o Earthing and bonding systems.

o Low voltage (LV) and extra-low voltage (ELV) systems.

· Conduct electrical load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and fault current studies.

· Prepare single-line diagrams, cable schedules, and technical specifications.

Consultancy and Project Management:

· Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and other consultants, to understand and deliver project requirements.

· Provide technical consultancy and ensure designs align with project objectives and timelines.

Integration and Coordination:

· Work closely with MEP, structural, and architectural teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems.

· Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to specify and validate equipment selections.

Documentation and Standards Compliance:

· Develop detailed engineering documents such as BOQs, GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, and tender documents.

· Ensure all designs comply with relevant local and international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IS codes) and safety regulations.

Support During Execution:

· Provide technical support during tendering, contractor evaluations, and the construction phase.

· Review contractor submittals, respond to RFIs, and resolve on-site design issues.

Sustainability and Innovation:

· Integrate energy-efficient and sustainable design practices, adhering to LEED/WELL standards where applicable.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Experience: Experience in electrical design for industrial and Life science projects, preferably with a consultancy background.

Skills:

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM for electrical documentation.

· Expertise in tools such as Dialux for lighting design and ETAP for power system analysis.

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems in industrial and Life science environments, including clean rooms and process-specific systems.

· Familiarity with safety standards, including hazardous area classifications (ATEX/IECEx).

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
