Deputy Manager – Environment

We are seeking an experienced Environment Manager to oversee environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and pollution control across our operations. The role involves close coordination with multiple plants, statutory authorities, and consultants to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards.

Location: Haresamudram, Andhra Pradesh

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stack emissions, ambient air quality, and noise levels; prepare and submit reports.
• Ensure proper functioning of air & water pollution control equipment across plants.
• Implement environment management initiatives in coordination with Power Plant, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, and DISP Plant.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports (CTO, EC, Environmental Statements) to APPCB, KSPCB, and MoEF.
• Manage Hazardous Waste Systems and file reports (Form-4, Form-5, Form-8, e-waste returns, self-declarations).
• Prepare sustainability data (BRSR) and contribute to pre-feasibility reports for expansion projects.
• Liaise with consultants for environmental clearance applications and MoEF submissions.
• Develop and maintain environment monitoring schedules to meet statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with Pollution Control Board officials during inspections, audits, and consent renewals.
• Maintain statutory registers/records and present to authorities as required.
• Oversee greenbelt maintenance and promote ISO 14001 compliance, including documentation and audits.
• Collaborate with neighboring industries to share best practices and improve environmental standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s in Environmental Science/Engineering OR B.Tech in Chemical/Environmental Engineering.
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance and management.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, reporting formats, and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 standards, sustainability reporting, and hazardous waste management.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Requirements

• Language: Proficiency in Telugu (speak & read), English, and Hindi is mandatory.
• Willingness to relocate to Haresamudram is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
