About the Role

Opportunity –

In this role, you will:

• Lead month-end closing activities, including journal entries, provisions, reconciliations, and ledger reviews.
• Review and validate general ledger entries and finalize monthly financial packs.
• Oversee stock accounting and inventory valuation for accurate reporting.
• Monitor advances and accruals to maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow statements for liquidity planning and treasury decisions.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis across marketing, operations, estates, and group finance costs.
• Review sales flash packs for accuracy and trend analysis.
• Perform debtor reconciliations and prepare regional/state-level financials.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles through commercial analysis.

Your work will ensure financial integrity and provide insights that drive business decisions.

About You

Essential Criteria

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree.
• 6–8 years of experience, preferably in Education or Publishing industry.
• Strong fundamentals in accounting, controlling, and period close processes.
• Proficient in SAP FI module and Excel; knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Copilot preferred.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and maintain clarity in high-stakes environments.
• Solutions-focused, resilient, and capable of handling dynamic business conditions.
