Conduct operational, financial, and inventory audits across textile manufacturing operations including spinning, weaving, dyeing, processing, stitching, warehousing, and procurement functions.
Review and evaluate internal controls related to raw material consumption, yarn/fabric inventory, production processes, stores, spare parts, procurement, payroll, and overtime.
Verify stock counts and ensure timely inventory reconciliation across departments.
Analyze production variances, wastage, and efficiency reports to identify operational gaps.
Identify fraud risks, process leakages, control weaknesses, and non-compliance issues.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct surprise audits of inventory, cash, and operational activities.
Review procurement transactions and vendor payments for accuracy, transparency, and compliance.
Evaluate ERP controls and monitor system-based transactions.
Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, risks, and recommendations.
Follow up on corrective actions and implementation of audit recommendations.
Coordinate with factory management and departmental heads during audit assignments.
Support investigations related to theft, pilferage, manipulation, or policy violations.
Assist in annual risk assessment and audit planning activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
CA Inter / ACCA / CMA / CIA preferred.
6–8 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably within textile manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory controls, and operational audits.
Hands-on experience in auditing spinning, weaving, processing, stitching, warehousing, and procurement functions.
Good knowledge of ERP systems, internal controls, and risk management practices.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle factory audits and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
