Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager – International Business is responsible for developing and managing international markets, expanding global sales, handling export operations, and building strong relationships with overseas distributors and clients. The role focuses on revenue growth, market expansion, and ensuring smooth international trade compliance.
Key Responsibilities: International Market Development
- Identify and develop new international markets and business opportunities.
- Conduct market research to understand demand, competition, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute international sales strategies.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve assigned export sales targets.
- Manage existing international distributors and appoint new partners.
- Prepare sales forecasts and budgets for international markets.
Client & Distributor Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with overseas clients.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
- Handle international inquiries, quotations, and proposals.
Export & Trade Operations
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams for timely shipments.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and customs requirements.
- Manage LC (Letter of Credit), payment terms, and international trade documentation.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly sales reports and market performance analysis.
- Monitor competitor activities in international markets.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in international sales/export business.
- Strong understanding of international trade laws and export documentation.
- Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing / Textile / Perfume industry (preferred).
