Position Overview: The Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective cash and cost management. The role involves overseeing accounts payable and receivable, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring cash flow, and assisting in audits. The Deputy Manager will also lead and mentor the accounts team while providing actionable financial insights to support strategic business decisions. Proficiency in SAP B1 is mandatory
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and Pakistani GAAP.
- Ensure timely consolidation and submission of reports for management and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors during year-end closing and support compliance with audit requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and support finalization of management accounts.
- Support the preparation of departmental budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor performance against budgets and report variances to management.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions as required.
- Oversee processing of supplier invoices, payroll, and operational payments.
- Monitor receivables, conduct reconciliations, and follow up on outstanding payments. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Track and analyze company expenditures and production costs.
- Assist in preparing cost reports and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor bank guarantees (BG), letters of credit (LC), and insurance transactions.
- Provide weekly and monthly cash flow updates to management
- Assist in tax compliance, including corporate, payroll, and other applicable taxes.
- Prepare tax submissions and support liaison with external tax advisors
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ACCA qualified, CA Inter/Finalist, CMA Inter/qualified, or professional accounting degree.
- Experience: 4–6 years in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance; manufacturing of meter sector experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Mandatory proficiency in SAP B1 and MS Excel.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Pakistani GAAP, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead a team, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
