JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Deputy Manager-Planning & Buyer
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities
Quality & Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, planning, and quality control, to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
- Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Compliance & Safety
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements related to importing goods, including customs and other trade compliance regulations.
- Ensure the smooth and timely flow of imported goods from supplier to destination.
Reports / MIS
- Demonstrate proficiency in office automation tools such as spreadsheets, graphs, and PowerBI.
- Utilize SAP for efficient supply chain management.
Delivery
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure on-time receipt of components and materials.
- Provide regular updates on orders and supply chain operations to stakeholders across the organization.
- Monitor delivery schedules to meet urgent customer requirements, managing any potential delays or issues.
Cost
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
- Maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and other service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective import operations.
- Optimize various aspects of supply chain management, including inventory management, demand forecasting, transportation, procurement, and supplier management.

- Exhibit strong communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.

- 5-8yrs of relevant experience
