Job Description


Roles & Responsibilities


  • Scan the IREPS , GEM, Metro Rail Corporation’s portals ( like Alstom, DMRC, BEML, etc. ), Indian Railway production unit’s , Zonal Railway’s websites for tenders being floated for Rubber to Metal bonded components suitable for LHB Coaches and Locomotives. Prepare a MIS capturing the entire tender details and circulate the list of tenders to be participated on a weekly or demand basis.
  • Develop and manage business with leading metro line OEMs and Operators such as Alstom, BEML, DMRC,CMRL and other Metro Rail corporations by identifying opportunities ,participating in bids and maintaining Strong customer relationships.
  • Prepare and submit competitive Techno – Commercial bids, lead negotiations with railway and metro customers and coordinate internal to secure approvals for participation in Tenders
  • Interact with various departments like production, finance, and region offices for getting relevant information related to respective tenders.
  • Prepare a bid proposal and present to the hierarchical manager for securing a ‘GO’ to participate in the tender.
  • Subsequent to the receipt of all relevant information form the cross functional teams and ‘GO’ approval from hierarchical manager, should complete the entire bidding process in IREPS.
  • After submission of the tender, gather tender opening results and do win-loss analysis and present the same to the hierarchical manager.
  • Send all tender related documents including the offer and submissions made against the tender to respective regional teams for follow up of orders
  • Coordinate with the production team for execution of orders within the delivery terms as defined in the purchase order.
  • Coordinate with the external inspection agencies (RITES/RDSO) for getting the material inspected as per the specification and get the inspection certificates and all related documents within the shortest possible time
  • With the support of regional teams, collect Receipt Notes and submit the same along with all other commercial documents in IREPS enabling the company to collect the payment towards the supplied material.
  • Maintain a MIS of all dispatches made, material received by customer, payment received against the material delivered and outstanding payments to be collected.
  • Performing any other duties which the company may require at all times
