Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager – Ship Building to oversee and coordinate ship construction projects. The candidate should have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing shipbuilding operations from planning to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all phases of shipbuilding projects, ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively across departments.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and quality teams.
• Monitor progress and resolve technical or operational challenges.
• Ensure compliance with class, statutory, and safety regulations.
• Review project documentation, drawings, and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the shipbuilding division.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Marine, or Naval Architecture Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in shipbuilding or shipyard operations.
• In-depth knowledge of ship construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Strong project management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
