Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing and implementing trade strategies to optimize container movement across routes and destinations.

2. Support the Manager in preparing monthly budgets and determining the Minimum Rate Guideline (MRG) for various trade lanes.

3. Conduct periodic reviews of trade performance and provide analysis on variances against the set budget and targets.

4. Coordinate and contribute to trade meetings, preparing data, reports, and discussion points on pricing and operational aspects.

5. Carry out market research and competitor analysis to identify pricing trends and potential opportunities.

6. Assist in processing and reviewing budget deviations such as Special Rate Requests (SRR), detention charges, and handling variations in coordination with the Manager and commercial teams.

7. Support in training and guiding team members to maintain knowledge of internal processes, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

8. Prepare and maintain regular MIS and performance reports for management review, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

9. Liaise with the accounts team to analyze cost structures in the liner business and support cost optimization initiatives.

10. Provide analytical inputs for assessing the profitability of proposed trade routes and potential network expansions.

11. Coordinate with procurement teams across regions to ensure slot costs remain aligned with budgetary requirements.

12. Contribute to building cross-functional knowledge among team members to enhance resource efficiency and operational synergy.

13. Support the development of strong customer relationships in collaboration with Key Account Management (KAM) teams.

14. Work closely with the DF & Procurement teams to ensure adherence to trade and cost objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
