Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified, compassionate, and skilled MD Dermatologist to join QHT Clinic in Haridwar. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, as well as performing cosmetic dermatology procedures. They will be expected to maintain high patient care standards, stay updated in the field, and contribute positively to clinic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dermatology consultations: take history, examine skin/hair/nails, diagnose conditions.
- Treat a variety of medical dermatology cases: acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, fungal infections, pigmentation disorders, etc.
- Perform diagnostic procedures: skin biopsies, dermoscopy, patch testing.
- Carry out minor surgical dermatology: excision of lesions, cysts, warts; nail surgeries where required.
- Provide cosmetic/aesthetic dermatology services (depending on clinic’s service offerings): chemical peels, laser therapies, fillers, botox, microdermabrasion, skin rejuvenation.
- Advise patients on skin care regimens, preventive skin health (sun protection, hygiene etc.), and post‐procedure care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records—including diagnosis, treatment plan, outcomes, follow‐ups.
- Coordinate with supporting staff (nurses, technicians) and ensure compliance with clinic protocols and hygiene standards.
- Participate in continuing medical education, workshops, seminars to stay current with advancements in dermatology.
- Occasionally assist in clinic marketing/awareness activities (e.g. patient education, social media or local events), if required.
Qualifications
- MD in Dermatology (or DNB/DDV equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in India (or specifically in Uttarakhand).
- Post‐MD clinical experience: ideally 1+ years in a dermatology setting, including exposure to cosmetic procedures.
- Strong diagnostic skills, surgical skills for minor procedures, good manual dexterity.
- Good communication skills, empathy, patient‐oriented attitude.
Skills & Competencies
- Expertise in both medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology (if clinic offers aesthetic services).
- Comfort using dermatology‐specific diagnostic tools (dermoscope, biopsy tools, lasers etc.).
- Ability to manage follow up, treatment adjustments, and monitor outcomes.
- Organizational skills for managing patient load and scheduling.
- Ability to work in a team, coordinate with support staff.
- Ethical practice, maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.

- Patient satisfaction / feedback.
- Number of patients seen / managed.
- Quality of outcomes (treatment effectiveness, complication rates).
- Adherence to clinic protocols and documentation.
- Contribution to clinic growth (retention, referrals etc.).
