Position Title: Clinic Counsellor / Aesthetic Counsellor Department: Patient Care & Sales Reports To: Dermatologist / Clinic Manager Location: Delhi & Jaipur

Position Overview

The Counsellor plays a key role in guiding patients through their dermatology and aesthetic treatment journey. This role involves educating patients about clinical procedures, explaining treatment plans recommended by the dermatologist, supporting decision-making, and ensuring a smooth and reassuring experience. The Counsellor also contributes to sales by converting inquiries into appointments and treatments, while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Consultation & Guidance

• Meet patients after the doctor’s consultation to explain the recommended treatment plan in detail.
• Clarify procedure steps, benefits, risks, downtime, and expected results.
• Address patient concerns and help them make informed decisions.
• Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions.

2. Treatment Counselling & Conversion

• Assist in converting consultations and inquiries into confirmed treatments.
• Explain pricing, packages, and available offers transparently.
• Follow up with potential clients to encourage bookings and repeat visits.
• Maintain a high conversion rate while prioritizing patient trust and ethics.

3. Patient Relationship Management

• Build strong rapport with patients to ensure comfort and confidence in the clinic.
• Follow up after procedures to monitor progress and satisfaction.
• Provide ongoing support throughout long-term treatment plans (e.g., acne, laser, hair).
• Ensure exceptional patient experience from consultation to post-care.

4. Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and follow-up notes.
• Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and reception teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Keep track of appointments, review schedules, and treatment recommendations.
• Prepare counselling reports and conversion data for management review.

5. Clinic Sales Support & Marketing

• Collaborate with the marketing team to support leads generated from promotions, field marketing, or digital channels.
• Educate walk-in patients about clinic services, new treatments, and products.
• Support promotional events, open houses, and awareness campaigns.

6. Knowledge & Compliance

• Stay updated on dermatology and aesthetic procedures such as:
• Laser treatments
• Acne procedures
• Chemical peels
• PRP
• Anti-aging treatments
• Hair treatments
• Medical facials
• Ensure all counselling follows ethical and medical guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow clinic protocols.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, nursing, psychology, cosmetology, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in dermatology, aesthetics, cosmetology, or healthcare counselling is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and persuasion ability with a patient-first mindset.
• Good understanding of dermatology and aesthetic treatments (training can be provided).
• Confident, well-groomed, and patient-friendly.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Working Conditions

• Clinic-based role requiring patient interaction throughout the day.
• May require weekend or extended hours based on clinic flow.
• Exposure to medical equipment, skincare products, and aesthetic technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
