Dermatologist (MD/DO):Position Summary:
The Dermatologist provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. This role includes the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions, as well as the performance of office-based dermatologic procedures, with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including inflammatory, infectious, autoimmune, and neoplastic skin diseases
- Diagnose and treat skin cancers, including melanoma and non-melanoma malignancies
- Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other office-based interventions consistent with training and privileges
- Provide medical management for chronic skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives
- Supervise and educate trainees or advanced practice providers, as applicable
- Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
Qualifications:- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited dermatology residency program
- Board-eligible or board-certified in Dermatology
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
