Dermatology Nurse

Assist dermatologists during examinations, biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and other dermatologic procedures.

Perform patient assessments including medical history, skin evaluations, and vital signs.

Administer topical, oral, or injectable medications as prescribed.

Provide wound care, dressing changes, and post-procedure instructions.

Educate patients on skin care regimens, disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

Operate and maintain dermatologic equipment (e.g., laser machines, cryotherapy tools, phototherapy units).

Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any adverse effects or complications.

Ensure infection control and compliance with clinical protocols.

Coordinate referrals, lab work, and follow-up appointments.

Assist in cosmetic dermatology procedures such as chemical peels, Botox, fillers, and microneedling (if trained and certified).

Stay current with developments in dermatology nursing, including continuing education and certifications.
