Registered Nurse (RN) – Dermatology

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in dermatology to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support dermatologists in delivering high-quality patient care, assist with procedures, perform patient education, and ensure a smooth clinical workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist dermatologists with clinical procedures
• Conduct initial patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital signs.
• Provide wound care and post-procedure instructions, ensuring patient understanding and compliance.
• Educate patients on skin care, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
• Manage and maintain sterile environments in exam and procedure rooms.
• Document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Coordinate with front office and clinical staff for scheduling, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Monitor for and report any adverse reactions or complications.
• Stay current with dermatology nursing best practices.

Requirements:

• Active and valid DOH Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in dermatology
• Strong understanding of dermatology procedures, sterilization protocols, and infection control
• Knowledge of common dermatological conditions and treatments.
• Familiarity with cosmetic dermatology is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior training in aesthetic dermatology procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills.
