Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Design & Estimation Engineers to join our Automation Execution Department. The role involves preparing accurate designs, cost estimates, and technical proposals for automation projects, while ensuring compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical designs, layouts, and schematics for automation projects (PLC, SCADA, DCS, EMS, BMS, etc.).
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and proposals based on tender documents and client requirements.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and client needs to determine optimal solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical and commercial quotations.
- Support the sales and execution teams with design clarifications, estimations, and documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the project execution team to ensure smooth handover of designed projects.
- Continuously research and stay updated on automation technologies and market pricing trends.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in Design and Estimation for Automation Systems (Fresh graduates with strong academic projects may also be considered).
- Good knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, BMS, EMS, and other automation systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and related design/estimation tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
