Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our team, specializing in F&B outlet design . The ideal candidate will have to do the planning, design, and coordination of inhouse restaurants, cafés, kitchens, and other food service spaces, ensuring projects meet operational needs, aesthetic standards & brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Concept & Design Development
    • Develop innovative design concepts for F&B outlets, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and brand identity.
    • Prepare mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations including video walkthrou for Brand & Principal presentations.
  • Technical Drawings & Documentation
    • Produce detailed Mall submission architectural drawings, plans, Joinery with specifications using Autocad / Revit.
    • Integrate MEP, kitchen equipment, and interior design requirements into the architectural plans.
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate with kitchen consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cohesive project delivery.
    • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure alignment with approved design and quality standards.
  • Compliance & Regulations
    • Ensure all designs comply with food safety standards, and authority approvals (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.).
    • Prepare and submit documentation for authority approvals.
  • Budget & Timeline Management
    • Work within project budgets and schedules, suggesting cost-effective and efficient design solutions.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3 years in F&B or hospitality projects in the UAE or GCC.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Lumion, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Video walkthrough software / Plugins.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen layouts, food service flow, and operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with GCC authority approval processes for F&B establishments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in both front-of-house and back-of-house design.
  • Basic knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions for hospitality spaces.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
