Design Assistant - Technical

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawing and prepare sketches accordingly.
• Critically review the IDM local/Export regarding job manufacturing.
• Seek assistance from Process Engineer for any troubleshooting during preparation of Process Sheets.
• Coordinate with Central Design, QA, Production and planning departments regarding shop floor deviation and drawing tolerances.
• Extracting estimated machining time with in cost work sheet and its data entry in machining sequences in ERP.
• Preparation of plate development & cutting plan according to drawing and material requisition- engineering item
• Responsible to review plate material NCR and respond accordingly.
• Responsible for record keeping of all related documents.

Requirements:

Education: DAE Mechanical, BS tech, (Certification in draftsman mechanical is a Plus)

Experience: 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.

Skills: Technical knowledge and skills of Machine shops work processes, Advanced user of AutoCad, Decision Quality & Problem Solving Skills
