Hard Rock Stone & Tile is hiring a results-driven Design Consultant / Sales Associate with experience in retail sales, showroom sales, or home improvement sales. This role focuses on countertop sales, tile sales, and customer consultation, making it ideal for candidates with a strong sales background and passion for interior design and home renovation.

• Drive countertop and tile sales by assisting customers in a retail showroom environment
• Provide customer consultations for kitchen and bathroom projects
• Recommend and sell granite, quartzite, quartz, marble, and tile products
• Generate, present, and follow up on sales quotes and estimates
• Convert leads into closed sales.
• Communicate with customers via in-person, phone, email, and text
• Read blueprints/drawings and perform accurate measurements and square footage calculations
• Use a tape measure and basic math for project estimating
• Process orders, track materials, and verify order accuracy
• Maintain organized CRM, paperwork, and customer records

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in sales, retail sales, showroom sales, or customer service
• Strong ability to close sales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills (percentages, fractions, decimals, square footage)
• Ability to read drawings and use a tape measure
• Moderate computer skills (CRM systems, quoting software, email)
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, and coachable

Preferred Experience

• Countertop sales, tile sales, flooring sales, or home improvement sales
• Experience working in a stone, cabinet, flooring, or construction-related showroom
• Background in kitchen & bath design or interior design sales
