Design Consultant/Sales

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Design Consultant/Sales professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key driver of customer engagement, blending expert design skills with a passion for high-end sales. You will leverage your knowledge of layout design, lighting, and renovation to inspire customers and guide them through their purchasing journey. Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their design needs and preferences, providing tailored solutions that align with their vision and budget.
• Utilize SketchUp, CAD, and other design tools to create detailed layouts and visual presentations that showcase product options and design concepts.
• Conduct product demonstrations, including lighting design and remodeling options, to educate clients on features and benefits.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products through inside sales techniques, upselling premium options, and offering comprehensive package deals.
• Manage customer accounts, follow up on inquiries, and ensure a seamless sales process from initial consultation to final purchase.
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure stock levels meet customer demand while promoting high-end products effectively.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies that attract new clients and increase sales volume.

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or high-end product selling with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD software, lighting design tools, and layout design to create compelling visual presentations.
• Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining customer trust.
• Knowledge of renovation, remodeling, construction processes, and interior design principles.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to clearly explain technical details and build rapport with clients.
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely follow-up and account management. Pay: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
