Design & Development Assistant – NISSE

NISSE  is seeking a  Designer Assistant  to join our creative team in Istanbul.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the  Creative Director  in the full process of developing the collection — from initial sketches to the final samples.

About the Role

As a Designer Assistant, you will support the creative team throughout all stages of design and product development. You will assist with research, sketch creation, fabric and trim sourcing, coordination with the pattern developer, and follow-up on samples with ateliers and suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fashion design, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a luxury brand environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in researching seasonal concepts, color palettes, fabrics, and materials
• Support the creation of sketches, mood boards, and technical sheets
• Coordinate with the  pattern developer , ateliers, and production teams on fittings and sample corrections
• Maintain  sample records including sample costs , fabrics, trims, and development details
• Organize and update design archives, fittings, and creative documentation
• Contribute to creative meetings and cross-functional coordination

Qualifications

• Degree in  Fashion Design  or related field
• Strong sense of design, attention to detail, and organizational ability
• Proficiency in  Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Passionate, proactive, and motivated to grow within a creative luxury environment
