Design & Development Engineer

Polymer Products of India (PPI) is a supplier of various rubber, plastic, and metal-rubber bonded components to the Indian Railways for over 32 years.

PPI is looking for a young, dynamic Design Engineer (open to freshers too) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of using CAD. It is a great opportunity for candidates to gain practical hands-on experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering through development of new products with the latest technology for the Indian Railways.

There is a strong scope for growth through experience and corresponding increase in pay.

Basic Requirements:

• Knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks preferably)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to converse in English & Hindi (Kannada and other languages will be an advantage)
• Team player
• Self-driven and strongly motivated

CAD Design Engineer job responsibilities:

• Develop new products for Indian Railways
• Model new products using CAD
• Design, model and develop dies for injection moulding
• Design, model and develop fixtures for testing of products

Salary range - ₹18,000 - ₹20,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
