QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. has founded at 1957, is a recognized international EPC (Engineering – Procurement – Construction) Company has designed and built many Projects for Oil and Gas Process, Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP) Projects, Simple Cycle Power Plants (SCPP) Projects, Coal Fired Power Plants, Desalination Plants, Pipeline&Pump Stations, Well Pad Facilities, and the Tank Farms in all over the world up to date.

ENKA has its own `in-house` multi-disciplinary engineering team that performs all design services required for the development of above mentioned projects. ENKA Engineering team carries out Conceptual (FEED), Basic and Detailed engineering for the Process, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, Civil & Structural, and Architectural disciplines.

ENKA Engineering organization comprises of 3 main divisions located in Istanbul Head Quarter - Engineering Offices in Turkey;

· ENKA Civil, Structural and Infrastructural,

· ENKA Architectural Design, and

· ENKA Energy Engineering.

ENKA Energy Engineering is seeking for new teammates who will become the member of ENKA’s design & engineering team located in Istanbul, Turkey. We are seeking to hire a Design Engineer to be employed within the Our Head Office in Istanbul.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc or M.Sc degree in Civil Engineering,
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in civil/structural design with knowledge of standards such as ACI and EUROCODE,
• Proven experience in reinforced concrete structure and foundation design or steel structure and connection design for industrial projects,
• Strong knowledge of international design codes such as Eurocode and ACI,
• Good knowledge of static modeling programs such as SAP2000 and ETABS,
• Proficiency in written and spoken English,
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs and AutoCAD,
• Previous experience in power, oil & gas, or heavy industrial projects is preferred,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software,
• Strong communication skills, team worker,
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive and energetic,
• Ability to work in harmony with other engineering disciplines,
• No restriction to travel and stay abroad when needed.
