Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop valves (e.g., gate, globe, check, butterfly, ball, control valves) based on application requirements and industry standards.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Perform calculations for pressure ratings, flow characteristics (Cv/Kv), and material selection in accordance with ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant standards.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA), flow simulations (CFD), and other validation techniques.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability), cost efficiency, and functionality.
• Review and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), design records, and technical specifications.
• Support prototyping, testing, and type approvals, including participation in FAT, inspection, and certification processes.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement of existing valve products.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards (e.g., API 6D, API 600, ASME B16.34, ISO 5208, PED, etc.).

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
