Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop battery chargers and related power electronic circuits.
• Work on schematic design, PCB layout review, and component selection.
• Test prototypes, analyze performance, and implement design improvements.
• Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and testing reports.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams for design validation and troubleshooting.
• Ensure designs meet safety, reliability, and efficiency standards (UL, CE, BIS, etc.).

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of SMPS / DC-DC converter / Power supply design.
• Hands-on experience with design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
• Familiarity with battery technologies (Li-ion, Lead-acid, etc.) and charging algorithms (CC/CV).
• Good understanding of electrical safety standards and thermal management.
• Strong analytical and circuit debugging skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in EV charger design or industrial battery charger systems.
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based control circuits.
