Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems in compliance with API 6A and other relevant standards.
- Create 3D models, drawings, and detailed engineering documentation using CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD / Inventor).
- Conduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection for product design.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
- Review and validate designs through simulations and prototype testing.
- Support in technical proposals, cost estimation, and design modifications.
- Ensure compliance with company QHSE standards and contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date design records and manage engineering change requests.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in design engineering within the Oil & Gas / manufacturing industry (API 6A products preferred).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other design software is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and GD&T principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) is an advantage.
