Design Engineer

ROLES & RESPONSISBILITIES:

1. The candidate should have foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and hands-on experience with CAD software.
2. This role will support senior engineers in creating, modifying, and managing design data for our next-generation diesel engines.
3. Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings of diesel engine components and systems using CREO. Develop and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and component lists.
4. Manage and control engineering data, including part files and drawings, within the Windchill PLM system.
5. Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure design specifications meet performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
6. Perform basic design calculations and tolerance stack-up analysis.
7. Assist in preparing design reviews and technical reports.
8. The Candidate should have following skill set: 1. CAD Modeling, 2. Data Management, 3. Design Support, 4. Manufacturing Support
9. Candidate should have experience in Base engine design and development of diesel engine
10. Candidate should experience in 3D modelling in Creo. Expertise in Auto cad would be an added advantage.
11. Candidate should have basic understanding of engine components and its functionality.
12. Experience of windchill/plm would be an added advantage

Education: Diploma / BE Mechanical/ Automobile
