Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Creating 2D and 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using CAD software (Creo, Autocad)
• Interact with customers - leading professors and scientists worldwide—to understand their experimental requirements.
• Conduct basic engineering calculations, simulations, and tolerance analyses.
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into updated designs.
• Prepare engineering documentation—including specifications, bills of materials (BOMs)
• Collect, organize, and analyze data using Excel & Word to support design decisions and project reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, assembly, electronics) to ensure product feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Adhere to industry standards, internal design guidelines, and safety requirements.

Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Aerospace, or related Engineering field.
• Familiarity with CAD tools(Creo, Ansys, Solidworks, Autocad) and basic engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute proactively.
