What you will be doing
As an
Experience Designer
within DXC’s
Experience Design
Practice in Consulting, you will be part of a team designing experiences that transform how people interact with technology, organisations, and each other. In this foundational role for our MEA region, you will support shaping solutions across the full spectrum of experience design — including service, product, customer, and employee experience — and help build our regional capability from the ground up.
You’ll collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to craft human-centered, insight-driven, and digitally enabled experiences for high-impact transformation programs across public and private sectors in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and beyond. This is a delivery and capability-building support role.
Key Responsibilities

Experience in end-to-end experience design
across complex programs, from problem framing and research to delivery and measurement.

Drive co-creation with clients and stakeholders through workshops, design sprints, journey mapping, concept envisioning, and iterative prototyping.

Design intuitive, engaging, and inclusive
digital products

services
, and
workplace experiences
rooted in
human-centered design
and regional context.

Produce high-quality
experience artifacts
such as journey maps, service blueprints, personas, concept visions, prototypes, and experience roadmaps.

Integrate qualitative and quantitative research insights to inform and validate design direction.

Champion the
experience voice
across delivery, working closely with change, technical, and strategy teams to ensure solutions align with user needs and business value.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, researchers, strategists, and developers to build scalable and accessible solutions.

Support pre-sales, proposals, and client engagement by shaping experience design narratives and solutions.

Contribute to the establishment of DXC’s
MEA Experience Design practice
, including methods, tools, training, and community building.
Key Competencies and Skills
-
4-7 years' experience in experience design, service design, or related roles, ideally in consulting or transformation settings.

Expertise in
human-centered design
, design thinking, and agile delivery environments.

Experience with
multi-platform design
(e.g., web, mobile, internal systems) and designing for
end-to-end service journeys
.

Skilled in
design research
, including planning and conducting user interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability testing.

Strong facilitation skills — able to lead co-design workshops, journey mapping sessions, and cross-functional design activities.

Strong in designing Microsoft PowerPoint (or similar) presentations and familiar with core M365 applications.

Familiarity with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, Mural) and service design documentation techniques.

Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement, storytelling, and visual presentation skills.

Appreciation of regional context in the Gulf — understanding of
cultural, linguistic, and accessibility considerations

Arabic language skills; experience working in or designing for the public sector, financial services, or energy/utilities.
