Design Engineer – 2D/3D Layouts

Job Description

To provide our clients with a clear and detailed idea of their future vehicles, we deliver 2D and 3D illustrations along with technical specifications. These drawings serve as detailed representations of the vehicle’s floor plan, accessories, and amenities (not structural/engineering drawings).

We are looking for a highly skilled 2D/3D Vehicle Layout Designer who can create detailed and visually appealing layouts and illustrations for specialized vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drawing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client requirements into professional visual representations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D floor plans and 3D layouts of customized vehicles based on project requirements.
• Work closely with the Sales and Engineering teams to ensure layouts align with technical specifications.
• Use industry-standard software (CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, Google SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, etc.) to produce high-quality drawings and renderings.
• Translate client requirements into detailed visual presentations that clearly communicate design concepts.
• Ensure timely delivery of illustrations and drawings as per project schedules.
• Maintain organized project files and design libraries for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D/3D illustration, layout design, or architectural visualization.
• Strong command over CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, SketchUp, Lumion, and Photoshop (knowledge of additional 3D rendering software will be a plus).
• Ability to interpret client requirements and convert them into professional layouts.
• Strong attention to detail with creative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in vehicle, industrial, or interior design visualization will be preferred.
