Design Engineer (Electrical)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer (Electrical) to join our Planning Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing Electrical, ELV, and BMS systems, preparing accurate engineering documentation, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. This role is critical to ensuring that our designs are efficient, compliant, and well-coordinated with other engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical/ELV/BMS Design:

Prepare detailed engineering designs for Electrical, ELV (CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, Data/Voice), and BMS/EMS systems.

• Estimation & Costing:

Prepare cost estimations and BOQs based on tender documents and design specifications.

• Drawing Preparation & Review:

Create and review GA, SLDs, wiring diagrams, ceiling layouts (RCP), and as-built drawings.

• Load Calculations:

Perform load calculations and determine sizing for electrical equipment such as transformers and DG sets.

• Power Distribution Design:

Design lighting and power systems ensuring compliance with standards and project specifications.

• Material Indenting:

Prepare material indents and BOQs aligning with approved electrical and ELV drawings.

• Coordination:

Work closely with procurement, site execution, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Drawing Coordination:

Coordinate Electrical/ELV/BMS layouts with HVAC, Utility, Process, and Cleanroom systems to prevent clashes.

• Documentation:

Maintain proper drawing control including numbering, templates, revision logs, and archiving.

• Technical Support:

Provide engineering assistance as directed by Project Management or the Head of Department.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
