Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, suppression systems) in compliance with NFPA, QCDD, and other relevant codes
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure design integrity and project alignment
• Conduct site visits and technical evaluations to support design implementation
• Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with Qatari Civil Defense requirements and facilitate approvals

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in designing fire protection systems
• UPDA Certification is mandatory
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation software
• Strong understanding of NFPA standards and QCDD procedures
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
