We are hiring an experienced DESIGN ENGINEER Power Control Room / E-House / Modular Substation / Prefabricated Substation for reputed Company in Saudi Arabia

Job Description

o Technical activities related to Electrical Design, Engineering of HV/MV/LV Power Control Room / Modular Substation / E-House / Pre-fabrication substation / Substation Building) by various software, including but not limited to the following:

o Yield a safe, quality and cost-effective design/product in a timely manner as per client’s requirements.

o Perform and prepare HV/MV/LV Substation Electrical & Instrumentation design calculation including lighting, grounding, shielding, battery and battery charger sizing, station service transformer sizing, and relevant drawings and documents.

o Prepare electrical layout drawings (general equipment arrangement, lighting, grounding, shielding, cable routing, etc.)

o Perform interfacing, design review and validation of PSA, DCS, Fire Alarm, Communication, Data and telephone system.

o Prepare bill of material, documents and drawings, etc.

o Select and evaluate related material and components, e.g. lighting fixtures, panel boards, HV/MV/LV cables, MCTs, grounding busbars, shielding mast, surge arrestor, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Communications / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in the field of Electrical & Instrumentation Design / Engineering of HV/MV/LV Substation for the Utility or Oil & Gas industry (e.g. National Grid / Saudi Electricity Company, Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Royal Commissioning, etc.)
• Power system protection & control, by using various design/engineering software, i-eDilux, ETAP, Multigrid, etc.
• AutoCAD / MicroStation, etc.
• Technical knowledge / expertise related to electrical design / engineering of HV/MV/LV Substations. Strong skills in Design Application Software & AutoCAD / MicroStation
• Proficient in English.
