Job Description – Draftsman / Design Engineer

Position Title: Draftsman / Design Engineer

Reporting To: Plant GM/Plant Head /Maintenance Head

Location: Palghar Plant

Experience: 4 – 8 Years

Role Purpose

To prepare and maintain accurate engineering drawings, 3D models and product designs of

Fasteners & machinery related components & parts, ensuring compliance with customer

Requirements, Indian and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

 Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models of fasteners, tools, and fixtures using CAD, Solid

Work & other related software.

 Interpret and convert customer drawings/specifications into manufacturing drawings.

 Ensure compliance with ISO, DIN, ASTM, IS, and customer-specific standards.

 Work closely with the Quality and Production teams for drawing clarifications and design

Feasibility.

 Maintain drawing number, revisions, item code and related design documentation.

 Assist in tooling and fixture design for production optimization.

 Ensure timely release of drawings and updates to concerned departments.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

 Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Tool Design.

 Certified training in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent).

Experience

 Minimum 2 years of experience as Draftsman / Design Engineer in Fasteners /

Automotive / Forging / Machine Tools/Tooling industries.

Knowledge & Skills

 Proficiency in CAD software – AutoCAD, SolidWorks (preferred).

 Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and tolerance requirements.

 Understanding of manufacturing processes

 Good documentation and communication skills.

 Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

 Age Preference: 22 – 40 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
