Our client is a leading Consultant who has delivered iconic residential and mixed-use projects.

The Position

The Design Manager position will lead residential development projects from start to finish, reporting to the PMO Director, overseeing a portfolio of projects at various stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client relations and coordinate with client-appointed consultants.
• Oversee design management processes, ensuring coordination with technical teams
• Manage contractual and commercial risks, protecting the interests of the organisation.
• Establish and maintain clear communication channels across all project stakeholders.
• Chair meetings, take minutes, and ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Coordinate with the BIM team to align project documentation and technical outputs.
• Support fee negotiations and manage consultant agreements.
• Promote collaboration and integration across internal and external teams.
• Represent the organisation in an outward-facing role, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years in managerial roles.
• 2+ years working for leading consultants or contractors
• 2+ years of working experience in KSA
• A proven track record leading residential development design projects from start to finish.
• Proven experience managing and coordinating clients on large-scale developments.
• Strong understanding of contractual and commercial aspects related to design management.
• Excellent communication, meeting management, and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with BIM processes and coordination.
