Design Manager

1. Position Overview:

The Design Manager will lead the design and engineering department, responsible for conceptualization, design development, detailing, and integration of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems for industrial furnaces and associated equipment.

The role requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and proactive project management to ensure design accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

2. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the preparation of GA drawings, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
• Conduct design calculations (thermal, mechanical, flow, load, etc.) and ensure compliance with standards.
• Implement and review design change control and revision management procedures.
• Prepare and maintain Design Document Register (DDR), Master Document List (MDL), and design approval logs.
• Verify drawings for fabrication feasibility, tolerance, fit-up, and maintainability.
• Implement standard design templates, drawing numbering systems.
• Participate in internal and external design audits and ensure corrective action closure.
• Conduct daily design review meetings and weekly progress monitoring.
• Establish design KPIs (revision count, rework %, schedule adherence, etc.)

3. EXPERIENCE : 5 to 6 Years of experience in Mechanical design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
